Our Terms & Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions on the JDR Minerals web site, please read them carefully.

1: General

JDR Minerals reserve the right to change and amend these terms and conditions. Any changes we make will be deemed to have come into effect on the date that they were posted on the web site You, the customer, are responsible for reading the terms and conditions. Use of this web site implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.

2: Colour Reproduction

Please note that whilst we have tried to represent the product colours as accurately as possible, they may vary slightly from the way they appear on your computer monitor. As we are unable to accept returns on opened products we strongly advise that, if you have any doubts about the suitability of any colour, you order samples first.

3: Pricing & Availability

All product prices quoted are in £ sterling and are exclusive of postage and packing charges. We reserve the right to change any advertised price before accepting an order. We accept all orders for products subject to product availability. However, if your order cannot be fulfilled, you will be advised by return e-mail and offered either:

  1. a refund for the unavailable product
  2. alternative product to the same value
  3. despatch of product upon future availability (back order)

Failure to reply to stock status e-mail within 24 hours will result in a default back ordering of the product for future despatch.

4: Order Payment

Payment for orders on the JDR Minerals web site can be made using Visa, Mastercard, Delta and Switch via Netbanx. Payment will be debited to your account before despatch of your order.

All credit and debit card holders are subject to authorisation by the card issuer and if the issuer of your card refuses to pay us, we will not be liable for the subsequent delay or non-delivery of product ordered.

5: Order Confirmation

You will be sent an e-mail confirming receipt of your order. We reserve the right to decline any order. Sample sizes are provided for sale to assist customers in finding the correct shade(s) and we will not accept repeated or multiple orders for samples of the same shade. All orders are accepted subject to our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

6: Order Delivery

All orders are shipped via Royal Mail First Class with proof of postage. Wherever possible, we use packaging which will fit through a standard letterbox but if you place a very large order this may not be possible. We aim to despatch/ship your order within 72 hours of receipt.

Postage & packing is based on the weight and value of your order, and is as follows:

7: Returns & Order Cancellations

If a product has been damaged in transit or is faulty, please contact us on admin@jdrminerals.co.uk within 3 working days of order receipt to arrange a replacement or a refund and return of the faulty item by second class post. In such cases we will refund the postage cost of returning the item and any replacement will be sent with no further P&P charge.

Cancellation of Orders

If you wish to cancel your order BEFORE we have sent goods, you must do so by email. If your order has not been sent, it will be cancelled and there will be no charge.

If you change your mind and cancel AFTER your order has been sent to you, the following applies :-

When you receive your order, as per the EU Distance Selling Directives, you have a “cooling off period” of 7 days to return the products ordered if you have changed your mind and wish to cancel. The products must be returned unused and unopened with all seals intact - in the same condition as they were originally dispatched. For reasons of hygiene we cannot accept for exchange or refund any item which has been opened or used or is not in the exact condition in which it was dispatched by us. We do NOT accept returns on sample sizes.

Please contact us by email (as above) to confirm which items are being returned. We will then issue you with a returns number and an address to send the goods back to us. JDR Minerals is not responsible for returned goods lost or damaged in transit. We strongly advise that customers use recorded delivery or a similar tracked service and obtain the necessary insurance which will cover the value of the items should they be lost in transit. There will be no refund of the cost of returning the goods. Refunds will be made to the original charged account within 7 days of receipt of the returned goods.

These conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

8: Other

Sales on this web site are governed by English law and you agree to submit any dispute to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. All orders are subject to these terms and conditions, and no amendments will be accepted by us.
